Compassionate, virtual counselling to support you through grief, serious illness, caregiving and end-of-life planning
Whether you are grieving the death of a loved one, coping with an anticipated loss, navigating a major life transition, or facing questions about your own future, you do not have to do it alone.
At Opal Counselling, Amanda offers virtual counselling for adults (18+) across Saskatchewan, creating a supportive space to explore difficult emotions, build resilience, and move forward in a way that honours your experiences and values.
I can help if you're:
Amanda Hahn
MSW/RSW
Amanda earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Regina in 2010 and returned to complete her Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2020. She has spent the majority of her career working within the healthcare system, where she has had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through serious illness, end-of-life planning, and grief.
Amanda’s practice is dedicated to supporting people through some of life's most difficult moments, including serious illness, caregiving, grief, and end-of-life planning. Whether supporting someone facing their own end-of-life journey, caring for a loved one, or navigating the many emotions that accompany grief and loss, Amanda provides a compassionate and supportive space to process difficult emotions, honour each person's unique experience, and learn to make space for grief while remaining open to moments of connection, purpose, and joy.
Amanda works with adults (18+). While she does not provide counselling services directly to children or adolescents, she welcomes opportunities to support parents and caregivers as they navigate the unique challenges of helping a child cope with a loved one’s serious illness or death.

You don't have to wait until you're in a crisis to seek support.
Many people come to counselling because they want help making sense of complicated emotions, preparing for difficult conversations, supporting a loved one through illness, or adjusting after a significant loss.
Opal Counselling respectfully acknowledges that this practice is located on Treaty 4 Territory, the traditional lands of the Nêhiyawak (Cree), Anihšināpēk (Saulteaux), Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda peoples, and the homeland of the Métis. Because I work virtually, I have the privilege of supporting clients across Saskatchewan, on Treaties 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10. I recognize the ongoing histories, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples, and I am committed to approaching my work with respect, cultural humility, and a commitment to reconciliation.
